147 lots
There is also an edition of 28 numbered pages, also with 147 lots, which has a separate title page for the second day's sale and in which lots 127-131 are headed: The following five lots were recently imported by, and are the property of, a well known connoisseur. In the 28-page edition, lot 63 is "An historical (scriptural), a spirited sketch" by Schiavone and is listed as the first lot of the second day of the sale. In the 27-page edition, lot 63 is repeated; it appears as both the last lot of the first day of the sale (a landscape by Domenichino) and as the first lot of the second day ("An historical (scriptural), a spirited sketch" by Schiavone). Lugt lists a 24-page edition with 138 lots but this assertion appears to have been based on inspection of incomplete copies of the 28-page edition, in which p. 24 ends with lot 138 followed by a double rule
